Funds not available

Me and my wife and daughters house burnt down and weve had no place to go when we finally found a place to go but we have to meet the landlord today at 10 oclock and we try to transfer the funds to our bank account They need to or three days to verify I never knew any of this or I would not have started to go fund me this is money that people donated to us so we can have a home and now we are going to miss that opportunity its not easy finding a home in our area all I dont understand why they have to have much more than verification they need besides our IDs are pictures our fingerprints whatever they need we can give them right now I dont understand why it would take 2 to 3 days and you cannot talk to anyone there

Preferred solution: We just need our funds we raised For our home fire today because we finally found a paint place to live and we need that money to give our landlord and it says we have to be verified for two or three days it’s crazy

In October 2022, I started a GoFundMe as a retired military officer to help my Afghanistan interpreter and his family. Finally, money started coming into the account and I told them I will be sending money soon. I followed the instructions of the site and attempted to withdraw funds. They paused the withdrawal and never explained why? I started contacting them by email with a response from them saying someone will get with you in 3-5 days. They told me at least 8 times to submit an overview of what the funds were for. I broke down the use of funds numbering each use in detail. They never responded. I contacted my Congressman's Washington DC office for help with a license that GoFundMe claimed I needed. I got the licenses and attached them over 7 times, without a response. I have contacted an attorney for help. My experience has been terrible, so I would never use or recommend them. Perhaps ok for Americans, but, not for international emergency situations. They are non-responsive. Furthermore, they continued to pretend that a transfer bank account was not attached to the account.

My husbands cousin Kristian Amezquita made a page for me and the money was never received. He and wife spent the money on what they wanted to do with it. I'm a stage 3 pancreatic cancer patient and this was the reason the gofundme was created. I lost my house which I tried to save but couldn't because the money was utilized for what they wanted to do with it. they went behind my back and rented a place for me that I didn't authorized them to do so.
